An affordable Long Arm and simple to use. The Bailey's 17 is a great machine it uses a class 15 bobbin and stitches very nicely. It has a automatic thread tension release and a verticle spool pin. All that space is available for quilting except if the bar of a frame is there when quilting on a frame and still leaves a great deal of space. everything is constructed to be very strong and durable. This machine really gives you 17 inches of quilting space and some of that can be used up on a quilting frame but with this large of a imachine you still have space left and plenty of it. iIt's a work horse and with this type of tool beautiful quilts get finished.
